Revenue Options
- Product Sponsorship
- Product sponsors receive the primary sponsor position within the application. In Sports Illustrated’s mySI, for example, this includes a click through sponsor position within the fullscreen mySI screensaver as well as a smaller sponsor spot beside the scoreboard ticker. This sponsor spot can be singular or can be shared among multiple sponsors, rotating between sponsors at each product launch. Other perks to full product sponsorship often include promotional opportunities for the product to coincide with the sponsors web and print marketing efforts and featured positioning on the product download page as well as the coveted position on our desktop notifications.
- Section Sponsorship
- Section sponsors align themselves specifically with one area within our multi-sectioned applications. For example, in an early version of the Tennessee Titans screensaver, a local Nashville sports medicine clinic sponsored the injuries section of the screensaver.
- Display Ads
- In most cases, Mercury Intermedia supports IAB standard ad sizes. Standard 300x250 ad spots are available in many of our screensaver, windows, and sidebar solutions.
- Pre-roll Ads
- Quick dramatic pre-roll ads are perfect for our screensavers and windowed applications. For example, imagine the impact of full screen promotion at product launch for our screensaver solutions. The SI Swimsuit calendar currently runs a short promotion for the Honda Civic each time the application starts up.
- Interstitial Ads
- Much like our pre-roll ads in our screensaver products, interstital ads can be setup to run full screen after a certain predetermined number of images are cycled through.
- Search Revenue
- Aside from notifications, all of our solutions allow for an optional search field. This search can be set up to search an associated website as well as including general search opportunities through our partners search agreements or through Mercury's search partnership with Ask.com.
- Sales Referrals
- All of our solutions are set up to support e-commerce click-thru opportunities for our partner's stores as well as referrals to sites such as Amazon.com and iTunes.
